Is the rabbit in the moon?
...Or is the moon in the rabbit?
 |
 |
 |
We are in
the Cosmos of the Rabbit, may be... |
 |
Over the ages,
Japanese have passed down folklore from mother to child about
rabbits secretly preparing rice cakes on the moon. This favorite
Japanese legend probably originates from the fact that most
Japanese claim to see a silhouette of a rabbit in the shadows
reflected on the face of a full moon.
This book is based on this timeless legend of the rabbit and
the moon.
"The Cosmos that was a Rabbit"
The cosmos, the never-ending galaxy we reside in, could perhaps
be.... a huge rabbit. For all that we know, who is it to say
that we are not but mere wanderers in the night, always being
watched by the eye of a rabbit. |
